I made it home safe and sound. It took some night driving, and a little crazy traveling, but I'm back in Maine for the holiday. Only a three day stop this time, but I'm not complaining, I totally escaped all the bad weather that has been hampering the country, and I would like to catch up on some money now.
Gonna get some sleep now, I've been awake for about 30 hrs. and I don't roll like that anymore.

WOW, awake for thirty hours? That sounds like no fun at all.
I'm flaked on my run after seventeen or eighteen hours awake, and that's not all driving time. I'm kind of glad that the UK has regulations on driving/working hours for truck drivers or I couldn't hack it (it's me extreme age!!!)
I hear ya, I should qualify my posting with the comment that I was only driving for 11 hrs, which is the legal maximum here. Between finishing my shopping, getting to see some family, and trying to get my laundry done, I just kept going and going!
